From April 27th till May 4th the international chess tournament “Ljubljana Chess Festival 2024” will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where up to 200 chess players of all generations are expected to play.
This Festival is an upgrade of the current one-day “Ljubljana chess festival”, which has been well received in Slovenia and beyond. This year’s chess festival will also count as a Slovenian national championship. During the eight days many accompanying events will take place, which will be available to visitors and especially to young chess players: rapid and blitz tournaments, chess workshops for children and a simultaneous exhibition (with GM Jure Skoberne).
